Terms of Service

Closetbook is a product of CAMMY LLC. This document is being prepared from the company's existing Terms of Service and will be published, with an effective date, before the first outside user signs in. Until then Closetbook is in private beta.

Draft: shop links and commissions

A piece in your closet can carry a link to the shop it came from. When you share a look, a trip or your creator page, those links appear on the public page beside a "Paid links" notice.

If you added your own affiliate link to a piece (for example from LTK, ShopMy, Amazon Associates or a brand's programme), that link is used as you gave it. Closetbook does not change it and takes no share of what you earn from it.

If a piece has an ordinary shop link and no affiliate link of yours, Closetbook may route the click through an affiliate network it belongs to (currently Skimlinks or Sovrn Commerce). The network sets a cookie in the shopper's browser so the shop can credit the sale; Closetbook receives a commission if the shopper buys, and may pay you a published share of that commission for sales your shared pages drove. Amazon links are never routed this way. Shares, minimum payouts and timing are set out on the payouts page when the programme opens; commissions are paid only once the shop has confirmed the sale and its return window has closed. You must be 18 or older to receive payouts.

You may not click your own links to earn commission, place Closetbook links where the site's rules forbid them, or hide that a link is a paid link.
